  In the heart of Nairobi’s informal settlements, families often sleep on cold floors, worn-out mats, or in overcrowded spaces. At the same time, many young people in these communities face the daily struggle of unemployment and lack of skills to create a better future. Beds of Hope was born out of this reality—a simple yet powerful idea: train young people in woodworking and, through their hands, provide families with something many of us take for granted—a bed. Every bed tells two stories: a young person discovering purpose and a family reclaiming dignity. Hope in Action

Our First day in School

Our First day in School

24 former street children of Kawangware who underwent rehabilitation and reintegration to their families have a story to tell. Today marked their first day in school after a successful placement. Special thanks to Liz Turnbull and Nicola Guise who have been relentless in their pursuit to brighten the future of these special ones which was bleak. The RHYCO team, KUDOS, you did a wonderful job.
